Samuel Hall conducted a study to identify key issues impacting the effectiveness of CVA, including digital modalities, and formulate recommendations to improve it. This study focused on the International Rescue Committee (IRC)’s CVA programming in the Diffa region, Niger. 

This study was commissioned by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA)-funded Strengthening Capacity in Agriculture, Livelihoods and Environment (SCALE) Award.

IOM - The Economic Impact of Migration in Agadez

This study assesses the economic interactions between migrants and the host community, and identifies concrete innovative ways to support their aspirations to a better life. Three key questions are answered: What drives migration in and through Agadez, and who are the actors involved? What is the economy of migration in the town of Agadez? Finally, what, concretely, can IOM (International Organization for Migration) and other stakeholders do to support both host community members and migrants?
