Koumba Dia
Koumba Harouna Dia joined Samuel Hall in May 2024 as a research assistant intern working in the research and policy pillar.
Prior to joining Samuel Hall, she worked as a project manager at the Fédération du Secours Populaire des Hauts-de-Seine in France on access to rights and healthcare for people helped by the association. She organized an associative forum that hosted 54 partners who advised over 500 people on their rights and their health paths.
Koumba Harouna also worked as a consultant for AP-HP International, where she contributed to the development of a hospital in Fada Ngourma, Burkina Faso. KoumbaHarouna takes a keen interest in Africa's healthcare sector. During her studies, she had the opportunity to produce several academic articles such as a study on the management of chronic diseases in the Mauritanian health system and a social innovation project to combat maternal mortality in Senegal.
Finally, she has expertise in immigration policies in Mauritania, particularly in the field of political identities and minorities.
