Giuliano Bianchini joined Samuel Hall in March 2023 as Senior Research Assistant within the Data Standards & Analytics Pillar. He holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Development from the University of Florence in Italy and more than five years of experience in quantitative-qualitative research and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of projects implemented in both development and humanitarian contexts.

Before joining Samuel Hall, he worked in South Sudan as M&E Officer for ACTED (a French NGO) monitoring six projects focused on promoting Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), building resilience against natural disasters (floodings), and providing emergency shelters to refugees/returnees/IDPs along the southern border with Uganda. Previously, he worked for the Tunis Regional Office of the Italian Agency of Development Cooperation (AICS) as M&E Officer with the scope of collecting, managing and analysing programme data related to 60 different projects in the Maghreb. Before that, he worked as Data Analyst for two Agencies of the European Commission, the European Food Safety Autjority (EFSA) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and as Economic Affair Intern for the UN Office of the High Representative of the Least Developed Countries in the UN Secretariat.
