Cyrus Ettehadieh
Research and Executive Assistant

Cyrus Ettehadieh is a Research and Executive Assistant to Dr Nassim Majidi. He joined Samuel Hall in December 2021 as a Junior Research Assistant to the Migration and Displacement Pillar. Cyrus holds a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University, with tracks focusing on International Systems & World Order and the MENA region.

Originally from Iran, he has written his undergraduate honors thesis on Iranian youth and their challenge of structures of power. He has also worked as an associate producer on a documentary focusing on young Afghan immigrants to Iran that are trying to raise awareness about their identity, socio-economic and political struggles through rap music.

Prior to that, he briefly interned at Ernst & Young and served as a tutor for students attending l’École Française de Téhéran (the French School of Tehran). As a tri-lingual (He is fluent in English, French, and Persian), cosmopolitan person he strives to broaden perceptions and advocate to bring the voices of other cultures, which so often go untold, to the forefront of global narratives.
