Akvile Krisciunaite

Akvile Krisciunaite is a Senior Research Assistant within the Data Standards and Analytics Pillar.

Prior to joining Samuel Hall, Akvile worked as a researcher at Diversity Development Group (Lithuania) where she conducted fieldwork, developed surveys, and analysed data on access to services among migrants to inform the development of local migrant integration strategies in 6 municipalities of Lithuania.

Akvile has also conducted policy evaluations on topics such as prevention of human trafficking, climate migration, national equality, and migration data collection. In 2021 and early 2022, she was involved in advocacy efforts against migrant pushbacks at the Belarus–European Union border.

Her previous work experience also includes an internship at the National Centre for Social Research (UK) where she conducted data analysis on employment skills among adults in Britain.

Akvile holds an MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and a BA in Sociology and Quantitative Methods from the University of Warwick.
