Wendy joined Samuel Hall’s Nairobi team in August 2018, where she works on resilience-related projects. At Samuel Hall, Wendy has focused on professional and post-secondary education in Kenya, Malawi, and Chad, working on quantitative tool coding, conducting fieldwork and data collection, as well as data analysis. Prior to joining Samuel Hall, she worked in designing sustainable energy indicators at the American University in Cairo, and as a research consultant in the fields of counter violent extremism, civil society, and organisational efficiency for organisations in the Middle East and North Africa, including Libya, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. Wendy holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Chicago and an MA in International Development from Sciences Po Paris, where she was a Kuwait Programme Excellence Scholarship recipient.
