Understanding durable solutions, return and reintegration: From theory to practice

30.08.2019 - Samuel Hall participated in a discussion on the return and reintegration of returnees in fragile contexts and the policy discourses around the topic. The goal of the discussion was to provide a set of standards to be aimed for when engaging on return and (re)integration to inform policy and practice. This began with an overview of the durable solutions framework and a detailed discussion of reintegration frameworks from academia and practice using evidence from three countries (Afghanistan, Somalia and Syria).
