IOM – Evaluation of the Somalia Awareness Raising Programme, Nairobi

April, 2015

Samuel Hall co-founder Nassim Majidi was commissioned to lead the implementation of the Kenya migration profiling exercise in accordance with IOM’s migration profiling methodologies and the guidance provided by the migration profiling contact group and to oversee the drafting of the migration profiling report. It contributed to IOM’s project “Migration Profile in Kenya: Building Capacities to Promote Evidence-Based Policy-Making” through a two-phased approach: drafting the full IOM Migration Profile for Kenya, and leading a capacity-building exercise and workshop with policymakers and technical workers from the Government of Kenya, to take on board the lessons from the profiling exercise. The workshops led to discussions on a Migration Data Management Strategy (MDMS) for Kenya.
