06.08.2021 - Samuel Hall co-founder Nassim Majidi talks to Ouest France about the increasing number of Afghans seeking to flee the country by any means possible, some 330,000 since the beginning of 2021 according to the United Nations. Nassim highlights how Europe will have to overcome logistical problems and prepare itself for an influx of Afghan asylum claims. The alternative, whereby Afghans at risk of reprisals by the Taliban are left to fend for themselves, is contrary to the Geneva Convention, which governs the protection of civilians during times of war.
