MALISH JOSEPH

Researcher, South Sudan

Malish Joseph is an educator with over 13 years of experience implementing Education related projects like Education in emergency, Youth empowerment Activity, teacher training and mentoring, core skills in the 21st century. He has implanted many projects with donors including: - USAID, British Council, NORAD, KFW, MDTF, BSF and UNICEF. Joseph holds a master’s degree in Education Management and planning from Nkumba University Entebbe, Uganda, Bachelor’s degree in Education secondary in the same University and Diploma in Education Secondary from Kyamboga University in Uganda.

Alongside education, Joseph has pursued a career in research in the recent years. Through his engagement with Samuel Hall in South Sudan, he wrote a research proposal for a national NGO to secure funds from UNICEF for a project in South Sudan and conducted research on “out of school children” for the Ministry of Education in South Sudan in partnership with UNICEF funded by GPE.

Currently, Joseph is the Project Coordinator for the USAID Youth Empowerment Activity implemented by Women Advancement Organization in Partnership with Education Development Centers.
