Kourtnie has eight years of experience in the humanitarian sector. She has managed research operations in areas of displacement, education, shelter and water, sanitation and hygiene. Prior to her engagement with Samuel Hall, Kourtnie worked as an assessment specialist and conducted research in innovation for the Harvard Business Press publication Innovator’s DNA. She has extensive experience working in complex environments and newly emerging markets including Somalia, East Africa, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates. She holds a degree in communication and studied social entrepreneurship at INSEAD.
