Jonathan is a Project Lead at Samuel Hall. Before joining Samuel Hall he was based In South Sudan for two years where he lead the Joint Market Monitoring Initiative, a country-wide price monitoring survey on behalf of REACH, WFP and the South Sudan Cash Working Group. In South Sudan, Jonathan also worked as an analyst at the January 2020 IPC Food Security Classification Conference. He also participated as a market assessment specialist in February 2021 for the Western Pibor Rapid Assessment on behalf of the FSL Cluster, WFP and REACH.

Prior to South Sudan, he worked for The Whitelum Group (now Alinea International) where he assisted the Australian Humanitarian Partnership Support Unit in diverting funds from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to relevant NGOs for disaster relief in the Pacific. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters In Development Studies from Melbourne University.
