Daron joined the Samuel Hall team in 2017. After having worked with the Samuel Hall East Africa team from Nairobi, she is now based with the research team in Afghanistan. Prior to working at Samuel Hall, she worked with the International Rescue Committee in the US as an AmeriCorps member, supporting recently resettled refugees with heightened medical and mental health needs, as well as with an NGO in Northern Uganda focused on women's empowerment. Daron graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in International Studies, minoring in African Studies.
